  • We finally got a chance to see “Oh Mary,” about the life of Mary Todd Lincoln, and living under the shadow of President Lincoln. And of course, we had to get some dinner and went to our absolute favorite Italian spot, Becco. We are having such fun dad time in nyc!
  • Taking a romantic stroll through Central Park with my husband. I miss the kids but so excited to have this trip for us to just reconnect and not have the kids bust into our bedroom every morning at 6 am! 🤣🤣 We headed to the New York Museum located in the park, which is fabulous. I love all the history and the special section on LGBTQ+ rights. It makes me feel so grateful to all those before us that made being a gay parent possible.
  • Being a tourist for the day and grabbing lunch at Tavern on the Green in Central Park. I’ve never been but loving our seat right in front of the window like seen in Ghostbusters where Rick Moranis is attacked by a demon and nobody reacts inside 🤣🤣 That is such a classic moment and makes me want to watch it again!
  • Taking a much needed daddy getaway to New York City. I love seeing the city from above and all the pulsating energy. I can’t wait to take in a broadway show. It has been far too long!
  • Enjoying the day with the kids at our favorite neighborhood restaurant then some playground time. Our son is such the little goofball but we love it. Getting out all their energy, which is every parent’s goal!
  • The kids just can’t get enough of Playseum, in the Chesapeake area of Maryland. We stopped on our way back to DC and I don’t think they’ll ever leave! Future astronaut or firefighter is our son’s hard choice ;) While our daughter loves the art projects. It’s so adorable to see them so thrilled!
  • Having such a great weekend with the kids in St Michaels, MD. How do the weekends go so fast?!! Enjoying a beautiful and chilly morning.
